MARKETPLACE ADVERTISING
FREE & PAID AD FEATURE
All ads posted on LANKALIST are active for 90 days, until such time it is closed or deleted.
If you have chosen to subscribe to a pre-defined paying option, your ad will be valid for the number of days depending on the package you have selected.
There are four types of ad options for sellers to promote their listings:
1. Free Ads
2. Paid Ads
3. Sponsored Ads
4. Featured Ads
FREE ADS
Most listings on LANKALIST are free. However, there are a small number of categories that have a mandatory listing fee. These will be highlighted as a Paid Ad listing, and will prompt members to pay for the listing/ad.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
To post an ad on LANKALIST, please follow these steps:
Login to your account by entering your email address and password. If you do not have an account, you can create one by simply clicking on the ‘Sign Up’ button on the top right corner of any LANKALIST page and then follow the prompts.
1. Click the + POST AD button on the top right corner of any LANKALIST page.
2. Select the Category then select the Subcategory from the drop-down menu of where you would like to post your ad.
3. Select the listing type
4. Enter the required fields: Listing, Price etc. (Fields marked with a red asterik are mandatory).
5. Enter the detailed description and attach pictures to your ad.
6. Enter your Location: City name followed by the State name where the goods / service is offered. E.g., Lynbrook, Melbourne.
7. Select one of the following options: - Post for Free (fees apply on a small number of categories) - Alternatively, you may also select one or more of our paying options: Featured Ad (this is a paid feature) - Sponsored Ad (this is a paid feature)
8. Click the ‘Submit for review’ button
All listings on LANKALIST will be reviewed before publishing. Once your listing has been approved, you will be notified by email, and it will be visible to all.
PAID ADS
There are a small number of categories that have a mandatory listing fee. These will be highlighted as a Paid Ad listing, and will prompt you to pay for the ad.
Alternatively, you may also select one or more of our paying options to boost your ad by simply selecting one of the following options:
BOOST AD FEATURE
SPONSORED AD
This feature offers users the opportunity to give their ad the ultimate boost on the marketplace landing page, ahead of the other listings - thereby receiving significantly higher visibility with a lot more enquiries. This is a paid feature.
Purchasing a Sponsored Ad is the most cost-effective way to receive significantly higher visibility and a lot more enquiries. Your ad will remain at the top of the marketplace landing page until new ads are added, at which point it will be moved down the listings.
This is a paid feature.
HOW LONG WILL MY AD BE FEATURED?
Your ad will be featured on a separate section on the marketplace landing page, ahead of the other lists - for the number of days you have selected when subscribing to this option. The LANKALIST Sponsored Ad packages are offered on the following plans:
$5 for 7 days
$10 for 14 days
$15 for 30 days
FEATURED AD
This feature offers users the opportunity to boost their ad on top of our category list pages, ahead of the other listings - thereby receiving significantly higher visibility with a lot more enquiries.
Purchasing a Featured Ad is the most cost-effective way to receive significantly higher visibility and a lot more enquiries. Your ad will remain at the top of the category until new ads are added, at which point it will be moved down the listings.
This is a paid feature.
HOW LONG WILL MY AD BE FEATURED?
Your ad will be featured top of our list pages, ahead of the other lists for the number of days you have selected when subscribing to this option. The LANKALIST Featured Ad packages are offered on the following plans:

$5 for 14 days
$10 for 30 days
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The “Boost” option is available only after an ad has been successfully listed on LANKALIST
This option is displayed under listing details page, beside the “Post Ad” button at the bottom of the page.
1. Select the ad you want Boost
2. Click "Boost" in the listing details page, and you will be presented with a list of paid ad options.
3. Chose the one that suits you and follow the prompts to pay and activate.
4. Click the ‘Submit for review’ button
You will receive a confirmation email along with payment instructions to activate your paid ad feature.

WHAT IS THE BULLETIN BOARD FEATURE?
The Bulletin Board is a limited advertising space reserved to feature ads on our website Home page. This feature is ideal for businesses looking to receive a significantly higher visibility with more enquiries.
HOW DOES THE BULLETIN BOARD WORK?
• Your ad will be featured in a special section called the Bulletin Board on our website home page, ahead of the other ads.
• Your ad will be highlighted with an image, caption and a brief description to ensure it stands out
• Your ad will be linked to either your website, Facebook page or in the listings
• Your ad will remain featured on the Bulletin Board for the duration, depending on the package you choose
HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE TO THE BULLETIN BOARD?
To subscribe to the Bulletin Board, please follow these steps:
1. Express your interest to advertise on the Bulletin Board by simply clicking the "Advertise with Us" button below.
2. Once your request has been reviewed, you will receive an email from the LANKALIST team of their decision.
3. If your ad has been accepted, you will then receive an invoice with payment instruction and artwork specifications. Once the payment is made, your ad space will be secured.
4. Email us the artwork for the ad by following the “Material Specification Guidelines” outlined in our Media kit.
5. Once the ad meets with our approval, your ad will be featured in our Bulletin Board.
6. Your ad will remain posted for the period, depending on the package you choose.

PREMIUM AD (CAROUSEL)
We offer a limited number of Advertising Spaces on our Home page Premium Ad Carousel
WHAT IS THE PREMIUM STRIP AD FEATURE?
The Premium Ad is a limited advertising space reserved to feature ads on our website Home page. The Premium Ad Carousel with a series of cascading ads will give businesses the opportunity to receive a significantly higher visibility with more enquiries
HOW DOES THE PREMIUM STRIP AD WORK?
• Your ad will be featured in a special section called the Premium Ad on our website home page, at the bottom.
• Your ad will be a single image ad placed on a slider
• Your ad will be linked to either your website, Facebook page or in the marketplace listings
• Your ad will remain featured on the Premium Ad slider for the duration, depending on the package you choose
